Four killed after houses were buried in landslide

JAJARKOT, Aug 5: Four members of a family died after being buried in a landslide in Thanti bazaar

in ward no. 3 of Bheri municipality on Sunday morning.

Lal Bahadur Lohar and his wife and children were buried in the landside

that washed away the house they were living on rent in the road leading

to Pani Naula from Thanti bazaar. Lal Bahadur was rescued alive from the

house owned by Tirtha Bohara. However, his

wife, daughter and two sons died in the incident.

A house belonging to Gopal Sunar was also buried in the incident and

security persons are currently carrying out rescue work with the help of

locals, according to Chief District Officer Lalit Kumar Basnet. (RSS)
