Thirty more Indian fishermen were arrested by Sri Lanka Navy on Monday night on charges of fishing in Sri Lanka waters and violating the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL), Sri Lankan Navy told local media Tuesday.

"Thirty more India fishermen were arrested on Monday night along with eight trawlers near the sea off Delft Island for allegedly fishing in the Sri Lankan waters," Navy Spokesperson Commander Kosala Warnakulasuriya said on a press conference here.

He said the arrested fishermen had been handed over to the Fisheries Inspector at Kankesanturai Fisheries Port this morning for further investigations.
