Djokovic's final legal battle on Australia deportation opens

World tennis No. 1 Novak Djokovic launched a final bid on Sunday to avoid deportation from Australia over his COVID-19 vaccination status, as an emergency Federal Court hearing opened on the eve of the Australian Open.

Djokovic's fate will be decided by three court justices in what is expected to be the decisive phase of his high-profile legal battles Down Under.
