ThedecisioncomesadayafterPrimeMinisterMalcolmTurnbullbrushedasidecriticismfromstaunchlyconservativeelementsofhisCoalitiongovernmenttoattendSydney'sannualgayMardiGrasparade.

Turnbull,consideredamoderateinhisLiberalParty-ledconservativeCoalitiongovernment,haslongattendedSydney'sworld-famousMardiGrasasitfallswithinhiselectorate.
