Over 91,000 Syrian refugees have returned home from Jordan

Jordan said on Sunday that about 91, 297 Syrian refugees have left Jordan for home since the start of the Syrian crisis in early 2011.

Waddah Hmoud, director of the Syrian Refugee Camps Department in Jordan, said the refugees returned to Syria out of their own will.

He said Jordan will continue to provide services to Syrian refugees in the country.

The official added that Jordan currently hosts some 543,029 Syrian refugees, 127,859 of whom live in camps while the rest live in cities and towns.
