Police in Germany have arrested a Syrian teenager suspected of planning a suicide attack in Berlin, a German official announced.
The 17-year-old, who allegedly planned a suicide attack in Berlin, was arrested in Uckermark, a district of Brandenburg on Tuesday, said the state's Interior Minister, Karl-Heinz Schroter.
According to a tweet from Brandenburg police, Special Forces arrested the youth after police received an anonymous tip-off.
Police said the Syrian teenager entered Germany in 2015 seeking asylum. He is being questioned and his home is being searched.
