Newly appointed Philippine Air Force chief assumes post

Newly appointed Philippine Air Force (PAF) chief Lieutenant General Edgar Fallorina on Wednesday assumed his post.

Philippine President Benigno S. Aquino III witnessed the turnover ceremony from Lieutenant General Jeffrey Delgado to Fallorina in a ceremony held in an air base in northern province of Batangas.

Delgado has retired upon reaching the mandatory retirement age of 56.

Prior to his appointment, Fallorina, the 34th commanding general of PAF, was the deputy chief of staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Enditem
