Asia Album: Noodle factory reopens in E. Pakistan amid COVID-19 outbreak during Ramadan

ISLAMABAD, May 17 (Xinhua) -- A local dry noodle factory in eastern Pakistan's Lahore has resumed operation amid the OCVID-19 outbreak to meet the demand for many Pakistani people buy dry noodles for an early morning meal before starting fast during the fasting month of Ramadan.

To date, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has risen to 40,151 with 873 deaths in Pakistan.
