Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) Tuesday released a poster depicting the image of four representatives, including renowned respiratory expert Zhong Nanshan, along with several basketball players, to pay tribute to those involved in China's anti-virus battle.

Apart from Zhong, whose team has given the CBA guidance on the league restart, three other ordinary people featuring in the poster are Zhao Yingming, a health worker from Sichuan province who aided the fight against the coronavirus in Hubei province, community worker Feng Feng and Wang Yong, a courier who volunteered to give over 1,000 medical workers a free ride during the COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan.

Yi Jianlian, Guo Ailun, Wang Zhelin, Zhou Qi and Sun Minghui are the player representatives in the poster.

"Thank you to everyone that helped fight against the coronavirus," the CBA said in a statement.

The CBA season is set to resume on June 20 after nearly a five-month hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"The CBA league has been postponed by the COVID-19, but will now move forward and not stop," the statement added.
