The global specialist in energy management and automation, Schneider Electric, has full confidence on the resilience of the Chinese people to win the battle against the novel coronavirus outbreak, and sees a bright future of its business in the Chinese market, according to Jean-Pascal Tricoire, chairman and CEO of Schneider Electric.

"Schneider Electric has been in China for many years. We grow with our customers, partners. And we have gone through everything together, good times or bad times. I have full confidence in the resilience of the Chinese people, of our Chinese colleagues and of our Chinese partners," the CEO told CGTN.

The company has been closely watching the outbreak in China. Apart from cash donation, Schneider Electric worked without any delay to mobilize all needed electrical equipment for the construction of the two temporary hospitals – Huoshenshan Hospital and Leishenshan Hospital to accommodate patients, in Wuhan.

"Everything was delivered in time in Wuhan. The safe and reliable supply of electricity could be guaranteed to save people's lives," the CEO said, adding that the company has been supporting the restoration of Xiaotangshan Hospital in Beijing and other regions, as well.

"Our efforts do not stop there. Meanwhile, our company has been sparing no efforts in sourcing and procuring medical supplies throughout Europe and the world," the CEO said.

Meanwhile, the CEO appreciated the government's efforts to support enterprises resuming work and production. "This requires tremendous determination, coordination," he commented.

Moreover, the CEO considered that the experience of "combating together with crisis" will make people closer.

"And our journey in China together towards bright future continues," he stressed.
