Kung Fu superstar Jackie Chan is going to visit Nepal on Tuesday to continue his support for this earthquake-hit nation.

Sources from the Chinese Red Cross Foundation told Xinhua that Chan, founder of Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Beijing, will arrive in Kathmandu along with officials and representatives from the two foundations.

The two foundations have been working together to send 5,000 boxes of relief supplies to Nepal's quake victims, which include basic toiletries, sleeping bag, bedding and other essential items.

Chan and his colleagues are planning to distribute these boxes to locals in Laitpur and Bhaktapur, two districts of the Kathmandu Valley, where the Red Cross Society of China has set up some makeshift shelters.

It is reported that Chan donated 100,000 Singapore dollars ( about 73,690 U.S. dollars) while attending an earthquake relief fund-raiser for Nepal in Singapore in May.

According to his schedule, the superstar will leave Kathmandu and fly to China's Guangzhou on Tuesday evening. Enditem
