Tuesday night's game between the Kings and Mavericks tipped off on time, despite entrances to the Golden1 Center having been temporarily closed when protesters descended onto the arena for the second time in less than a week.

According to the Sacramento Bee, hundreds of protesters blocked the entrances to the arena ahead of the 10 p.m. ET tipoff against the Mavericks.

Protesters stood in front of the doors on several sides of the arena and some taunted fans waiting to enter.

The team's game against Dallas tipped off only a few minutes after the scheduled time. The 17,600-seat arena was sparsely populated.

Two Sacramento police fatally shot Stephon Clark, an unarmed black man, on March 18. Police say they thought Clark was holding a gun, but he was found with only a cellphone.

Protests have taken place throughout the city since.

Last Thursday, the game between the Kings and Atlanta Hawks started after a 19-minute delay because of the protesters, who were locked arm-in-arm surrounding entrances to the Golden1 Center.
