Reading and sightseeing: pastoral book store opens for free

A well-decorated book store opened to the local residents and tourists for free in Dafang County, south China's Guizhou Province.

There is a library, a dining bar, a digital reading room and an observation deck in the four-layered building.

120,000 square meters of terraces were built in the largest poverty-relief relocation site in the ancient town, integrating pastoral view with urban construction.

Sitting in the store, a reader can enjoy the panoramic view of the terraced fields outside.

The relocation site was listed as a national AAAA scenic spot.
