Urgent: Preliminary results show Lukashenko wins Belarusian presidential elections

Preliminary results on Monday showed that incumbent Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko won the presidential elections, the country's central election commission said.

Lukashenko won a sixth term with 80.23 percent of the vote, while opposition candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, his main rival, won nearly 9.9 percent, according to preliminary results.
