Joint efforts battle virus in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region

Health authorities have established joint mechanisms to battle the novel coronavirus in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

The authorities communicate with each other at least once a day and share epidemic information about two to three times a day in the region, said He Peng, a spokesperson with Tianjin's Health Commission.

Meanwhile, a remote diagnosis platform is in operation, allowing patients in critical condition to receive long-distance diagnosis when necessary, He said.

Authorities also share their experience in the treatment of patients to improve medical skills, He said.
