**LONDON, Sept. 23 (APD) - **Exports of gasoline from Europe to Mideast region are set to expand this week following the drone attacks over Saudi Arabia oil refinery facilities that apparently have crippled supply from the Mideast kingdom country.
According to shipping data, over 400,000 tons of gasoline and gasoline blending components have been booked in the past week for loading between Sept. 21 and Sept 26 out of northwest Europe with Mideast Gulf delivery options. The amount is equivalent of around 500,000 barrels per day.
Even destination of the shipping have yet to be disclosed, traders said that Aramco, the Saudi Arabia state oil firm, currently seeks huge volume of refined oil products.
The sharp rise of shipping bookings was due to enormous demand in the region after the September 14 attacks in Saudi Arabia oil refineries that harming about 1 million barrels per day of Saudi Arabia’s oil refinery capacity.
The enormous gasoline shipping bookings to Middle East region in the past week may pave the way for more European gasoline exports to the region, a data analytics firm said.
Europe saw an average of 60,000 barrels per day of gasoline exports to Saudi Arabia in the first five months this year.
