Global warming in Bolivia is causing a glacier in the Andes Mountains to disappear even faster than scientists initially predicted.

Residents of the nearby cities of La Paz and El Alto are concerned since the glacier is a key water resource.

Scientists had predicted the Tuni glacier would be around for at least another four years. Now they say its disappearance is imminent.

What was once an ice field is now rock – exposed for the first time in centuries.
