(CHINADAILY)Thecentralgovernment's13thFive-YearPlan(2016-20)willbringnewopportunitiesforHongKongandthemainland,withcooperationprojectsbeingfinalizedduringthe21stregularworkingmeetingbetweenHongKongandGuangdongonWednesday,ChiefSecretaryforAdministrationCarrieLamChengYuet-ngorsaid.

LampointedoutthattheSARgovernmentattachedgreatimportancetothisyearasitisthefirstyearofthe13thFive-YearPlan.TheHongKonggovernmentwillsparenoefforttoparticipateinthefurtherdevelopmentofthecountry,takingadvantageofthestrengthsoftheSAR.

LamalsoaddedthatthechapterinthedevelopmentplanaboutHongKongandMacaohighlightedthedistinctiveadvantagesofthetwoSARstoenhancethestatusandfunctioninthecountry'seconomicdevelopmentandopening-up,demonstratingthespecialattentionthecentralgovernmenthaspaidtothesetworegions.
