The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) has sent COVID-19 prevention and control materials including protective suits and medical masks to the militaries of 20 countries.
At the request of their militaries and with the approval of the Central Military Commission, the medical supplies were sent from Tuesday to Friday by air force planes and other means to countries such as Ethiopia, Mozambique, Tunisia, Angola, Egypt, among others.
The PLA vowed to strengthen international cooperation related to the pandemic response and make greater contributions to safeguarding international public health as well as building a global community of health for all.
