Wandering elephants in SW China show signs of traveling south

The herd of wandering Asian elephants in southwest China’s Yunnan Province has shown signs of traveling south. On Thursday, the 14 giants moved across four villages in a 23-kilometer southbound journey in Eshan County of Yuxi City. During the past weeks, the parade has been lingering between Eshan and neighboring Yimen County.
