Police, abortion rights campaigners clash in Mexico City

Activists clashed with police, who threw tear gas at protesters during a rally in Mexico City on International Safe Abortion Day. Demonstrators, clad in green bandanas, wielding hammers and throwing Molotov cocktails at officers, are calling for the legalization of abortion in the country. Here are some of the scenes.
