A massive fire on Friday night engulfed Sanjiang Market, a shopping mall selling Chinese goods, in the Laotian capital Vientiane.
The incident happened at around 5:30 p.m. local time.
Firefighters and rescue workers arrived at the scene immediately, extinguishing the fire in some three hours.
Most of the stores were closed at the time, and no causalities have been reported so far.
An investigation is underway.
