Singapore reports 386 new COVID-19 cases, 2,918 in total

Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 386 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 2,918.

Of the newly confirmed cases, 280 were linked to known clusters, 12 were linked to other cases, while contact tracing was being done for the remaining 94 cases.

During the past day, 26 more patients of COVID-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 586 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities, the ministry said.

Besides, the number of cases that have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection increased to nine on Monday.
