A Chinese tourist was killed and many others were injured when a hot air balloon hard landed in central Turkey on Wednesday, according to the Chinese embassy in Turkey.
The Chinese embassy in the capital Ankara has confirmed that the dead Chinese tourist is Tang Yi, a Chinese oversea students studying in UK.
Also in the accident, four other Chinese tourists were injured,and two of them, a female and a male, are with serious injuries. They are now under hospital treatment.
Two Chinese diplomats have rushed to the scene, while local investigation is underway, according to the chinese Embassy.
