(The Straits Times) If you are aStar Warsfan, chances are you would already have watchedStar Wars: The Force Awakensby now. If you managed to get tickets for the first few days’ screenings, that is.
If you haven’t watched it yet, then you could always sate your inner fanboy or fangirl with the countlessStar Warsmerchandise, toys, clothing lines, and other tie-in products out there.

Lego Star Wars: Poe Dameron’s X-Wing Fighter
Didyou know that Malaysia is one of the largest markets for Lego’sStar Warsproducts in the world? That would probably explain why this gorgeous Lego X-Wing has been flying off the shelves so quickly.
Costing RM399, it’s not cheap, of course, but trust us when we say that this is one of the best new Lego products released forThe Force Awakens.
We love the Lego X-Wing so much we would cuddle it to sleep.
Everything about this particular model – from the striking black and orange colours, to the quite ingenious rubber-band method of opening and closing the fighter’s S-foils – is just insanely cool, and after you’ve finished bricking this, you’ll be longing for moreStar WarsLego products to play with.
Oh, and keep a lookout for a whole new wave ofThe Force AwakensLego sets coming out in the next week or so. We have no doubt that those are going to fly off the shelves faster than light speed.

Though we have a soft spot for theMillennium Falcon, we have to admit that the coolest item in the range is definitely the 1/48 scale X-Wing fighter that comes with lights and movable parts that allow the S-foils to open and close at the push of a button.

Sphero BB-8
Theroly-poly droid BB-8 is, without doubt, one of THE best new characters in the new movie. Trust us, after you watch the movie, you would want a BB-8 of your own as well.
Well, good news for you then, for US robotics company Sphero actually came out with a working, app-driven BB-8 toy that many have said is one of the bestStar Warstoys ever made.
There is just so much to love about this toy. You can drive it using an app on your smartphone, make it patrol a certain area, transmit holographic messages on your phone, and even give it voice commands through your phone. That’s hours of fun crammed into a tiny little ball droid.

Royal Selangor Captain Phasma figurine
Earlierthis year, Royal Selangor released a range ofStar Warsproducts based on the original trilogy, which consists of statues of Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Yoda, and other iconic characters from the movies.
In conjunction with the release ofThe Force Awakens, Royal Selangor has also released a second wave of products, this one based on the new movie.
First up is a set of keychains featuring four different eras of Stormtroopers – from the first Clone Troopers to the First Order version inThe Force Awakens. But the centrepiece of the new collection is without doubt, the statue of the imposing Captain Phasma, played by Gwendoline Christie in the movie.
Basically a hulking, chrome version of a Stormtrooper, the pewter statue captures every detail of the character, from the pockets on her grainy cloak to the sleek compartments on the utility belt-cum-holster, and the blaster.
