Spring and summer are the best times to appreciate flowers as they bloom. In Beijing Botanical Garden, various flowers are blooming, including the Chinese rose and the Chinese peony.

The Chinese rose is a member of the genus Rosa native to China. The flower has been cultivated in China for a long time and has many colors, including red, pink, yellow, and white. Chinese peony, also known as common garden peony, has also been cultivated for centuries. Peonies can live very long, some over 100 years.
