2020 China Unicorn Carnival kicks off in Beijing

The opening ceremony of the "2020 China Unicorn Carnival" was held on Aug. 18 in Beijing.

At the event, President of China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Li Zibin, said that the technological innovations and industrial upgrades promoted at the event are important for Chinese enterprises to promote economic transformation.

Li suggested that Chinese small and medium enterprises should utilize 5G, AI, and industrial Internet and Internet of Things technologies to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of their enterprises.

Companies seeking to grow in the post-pandemic economy should embrace challenges and chances, said Ge Jun, the global CEO of TOJOY Sharing Group (TOJOY).

Ge made the remarks during an interview in the opening ceremony of the "2020 China Unicorn Carnival"as he commented on the resumption of work and production following the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Ge, now that the pandemic period has passed across China following successful prevention and control measures,enterprises should make full use of platforms to access capital, resources, and assistance for growth.

Established in 1991, TOJOY is a business accelerator that operates one such platform that provides incubation, scaling, financing,and operational support to its portfolio companies. Originally a domestic enterprise, TOJOY has developed into an online-offline global business platform.

Over the coming days, several TOJOY events will showcase the capabilities of the TOJOY platform and enable dozens of businesses to reach the resources they need in order to upgrade and scale their businesses across China.
