More than 60 firefighters worked to contain a fire
in a 36-story apartment building on Friday in Honolulu, the capital city of US state Hawii, a spokesman from local fire department said.
At least two people were taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation.
The fire started from the 26th floor and spread to other units at the Marco Polo Apartment Condominiums, the spokesman David Jenkins said.
The road in front of the complex has been closed, local police said on its twitter account.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
