The Malaysian government promised on Sunday to give detailed information on the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 to the relatives of Chinese passengers aboard the jetliner.

Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Huang Huikang and head of Chinese government joint working group Guo Shaochun conveyed the Malaysian pledge when they met with 29 relatives upon their arrival in the Malaysian capital on Sunday morning.

The relatives said that they wanted to know the truth of the incident and would express their requirement in a rational way.

The MH370 went missing on March 8 on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people on board, including 154 Chinese nationals.
