Hebei Pingshan officials visits Hong Kong, in search for business opportunities

Government officials of Hebei's Pingshan county came to Hong Kong in search for cooperation opportunities with the city's business sector.

The delegate from the northern Chinese province will stay in Hong Kong from June 9 to 12 to showcased investment programs, enhanced mutual understanding and reached agreements with Hong Kong's business leaders.

Wang Shucheng, a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the President of Wenwei Po, a local Chinese media, said, “Hong Kong is an international trade and financial centre in Asia-Pacific, as well as the window for China to communicate with the world. The Central government has implemented quite a few policies in support of the economy of Hong Kong. Pingshan, located in the economic circle of Beijing and Tianjing, is now undergoing speedy development. Pingshan and Hong Kong's collaboration will undoubtedly bring a win-win situation.

Li Xuyang, the county's party secretary, introduced Pingshan as one of the most attractive and dynamic counties in the area. He said, “Pingshan is rich in history and culture. This is also a place where we can find tremendous business opportunities.

More than ten companies signed strategic partnership agreements with the county's government.

During the stay, the Pingshan delegation visited media press and entrepreneurs to discuss the possibilities in cooperation. Hong Kong business field spoke highly of developments and investment atmosphere in Pingshan, and expressed intentions of carrying on the further cooperation.
