Zhu Fangyu, general manager of Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) club the Guangdong Southeast Tigers, and player Zhou Peng have suffered losses of their personal belongings following recent torrential rain in Dongguan, a southern Chinese city in Guangdong province.

Zhu, the former all-time leading scorer of the CBA, saw part of his sneaker collection and other personal items damaged after his basement was flooded following the rain.

Zhou, a member of China's national team, faced the same situation. He turned to social media for consultation.

"My basement was flooded recently. Now I'm asking for your help. I want to have my electronic devices repaired. Who knows places where I can have it done?" Zhou said in a video posted on his social media account on Sina Weibo, Twitter's equivalent in China.

Some of Zhou's damaged cameras, mobile phones and voice recorders, and even a computer processor, were seen in the video.

The Southeast Tigers sit atop the 20-team CBA with a win-loss record of 28-2.
