At least 29 killed as bus falls into canal in India

At least 29 were killed and many more injured as a bus carrying some 50 passengers fell into a canal in India on Monday, local media reported.

The bus overturned at the Lucknow-Agra Expressway in Uttar Pradesh and fell into a canal while traveling from Lucknow to Delhi.

Rescue operations are underway at the site of the incident.

The cause of the incident remains unclear.
