2 specialized coronavirus hospitals in Wuhan put to use on Feb 3 and 6

Two specialized coronavirus hospitals in Wuhan, the city at the epicenter of the outbreak, will be put to use on February 3 and 6 respectively, the mayor of Wuhan has announced.

Huoshenshan Hospital will start taking patients on February 3 and the other, Leishenshan Hospital on February 6.

The two hospitals are makeshift hospitals to admit patients infected with the novel coronavirus, and follow the model of Xiaotangshan Hospital in Beijing, which was built in response to the SARS epidemic in 2003.
