Just order on your mobile phone, and a deliveryman will rush to the restaurant, pick up your favorite food and deliver it right to your seat on the fast-speed bullet trains.
With China's train booking app 12306, passengers can now order take-out food from local restaurants at least an hour before the train arrives in the city.
The service started last July with sales reaching a record high during this year's Spring Festival travel rush, the world's largest migration. Nearly three billion passenger trains are expected in a month.
Deliveryman Luo Deyou brings food from the train station to the platform at least 20 times a day.
Train passengers in China have long complained about the expensive and often not so tasty meals on the trains, a result of monopoly in selling food and drinks by railway firms.
The latest round of reforms has opened the market to other companies in a bid to provide a wider selection of hungry passengers and boost the local economy.
All food prices are the same as for eat-in food, with an extra charge of eight yuan (1.3 US dollars) for delivery.
For delivery firms, it's literally a race against the world's fastest trains, which now move at a speed of 350 km/h.
But for passengers it has allowed them to have greater options during their journey.
Next time, don't just say "Bon voyage", but "Bon appetite" as well when your pals are traveling by China's high-speed rail.
