China's COVID-19 vaccine may be new candidate in EU: Italy

China's COVID-19 vaccine developed by Sinovac Biotech may become a new candidate and be subjected to evaluation by the European Union, Nicola Magrini, general director of the Italian Medicines Agency, told media on Wednesday.

Magrini said it will be necessary to see if the vaccine's data meet EU's requirement and it could become another candidate once the studies have been evaluated.
