A male body without legs was found stuffed in a luggage bag along a busy road on Wednesday evening.

The police said that they received a call for assistance in the evening. Officers found a bloody luggage bag with an upper body inside without both legs at the scene along Syed Alwi Road near the downtown area.

Local daily Straits Times quoted Woo Shin Kwong, a 57-year-old cleaner who was working nearby, as saying that he saw a middle- aged man attempting to carry the luggage bag and stopped him because he noticed the bag was soaked in blood. He then called the police, and the middle-aged man remained on scene till they arrived.

Police said that the case has been classified as an unnatural death and that they were investigating the case.
