APD | Chinese national arrested with 200 live scorpions in Sri Lanka

**COLOMBO, Jan 13 (APD) -- **A Chinese national was arrested at Sri Lanka's Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) on Monday with 200 live scorpions.

Customs officers at the airport arrested the Chinese man when he attempted to smuggle the live scorpions out of the country.

The live scorpions were found concealed in his luggage.
