Erdogan, Rouhani discuss cooperation against COVID-19

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani discussed cooperation against the COVID-19 during a phone conversation, Turkey's presidential office said Wednesday.

Both leaders also addressed regional developments as well as bilateral issues, according to the statement.

The death toll from the virus in Turkey climbed to 2,376, and the confirmed cases totaled 98,674. The total number infected reached 85,996 in Iran with 5,391 deaths.
