COVID-19 cases in U.S. top 4,000: Johns Hopkins University

The number of COVID-19 cases in the United States has topped 4,000 by 1:00 p.m. local time Monday (1700 GMT), according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.

The fresh figure reached 4,068 with 69 deaths, the CSSE said.
