Brazil police arrests five for overcharging World Cup stadium

Police on Tuesday arrested five people as part of an investigation into alleged overcharging in the construction of a soccer stadium in northeastern Brazil for the 2014 World Cup, according to a statement.

Police also brought in six people for questioning and served 22 search-and-seizure warrants, the statement added. A police source told Reuters that former minister Henrique Eduardo Alves was among those targeted by the arrest warrants.
