House Democrats plan to vote on Trump impeachment on Wednesday

House Democrats are planning to vote on Wednesday to impeach President Donald Trump, CNN reported citing House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer on Monday.

The House is scheduled to vote on a resolution urging Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from power on Tuesday evening, and then plans to vote Wednesday at 9 a.m. ET on the impeachment resolution, according to Hoyer.

House Democrats introduced an article of impeachment on Monday morning, which charges Trump with "incitement of insurrection."
