A house fire in Clinton, southeastern U.S. state of Mississippi, killed a mother and her six children on Saturday, according to media reports.
The victims range in age from one to 33 years, reported CNN's affiliate WJTV.
The children's father, the station reported, made it out of the home after trying to rescue his family. He was taken to a hospital with injuries.
The cause of the blaze remains unknown.
