Locals and advocates of some of Bolivia’s most remote Indigenous communities are concerned that the isolation that has preserved so much of their way of life will now put them at greater risk.

Few Indigenous people are included in the 18.5% of Bolivia’s population that have received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
