M6.6 earthquake strikes off coast of Philippines

A magnitude-6.6 earthquake struck the coast of the Philippines on Tuesday at a depth of 9 kilometers, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.

The agency issued a tsunami warning, saying "strong currents and rapid changes in seawater level are expected."
