Russia calls on parties on Korean Peninsula to resume dialogue

Moscow called on the parties on Korean Peninsula to show restraint and readiness to engage in dialogue, spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said in a statement on Wednesday.

"There is no sensible alternative to the political and diplomatic settlement of regional problems. In this context, we are calling on all partners to demonstrate restraint and practically reaffirm their readiness to resume dialogue in line with the agreements achieved earlier and assumed obligations," said the statement.
